Energy Systems Catapult provides independent analysis of the accuracy of Knauf Energy Solutions’ negawatthour meter.
Recently we launched a discussion about the importance, as well as the approach, to incorporating real performance data in Energy Performance Certificates (EPC's). One of the key issues that we raised was the need for real performance technologies to be able to offer a high level of accuracy.
Our attached report delves into the accuracy of our Negawatt Meter. Energy Systems Catapult conducted a blind test on our technology, providing an independant view of our accuracy.
The verdict?
Energy Systems Catapult found that our average error was less than 7%
